Cigarettes stolen in Chippy burglary

Four offenders wearing masks forced open the door of a shop in Chipping Norton and stole cigarettes.

The incident happened at about 3.10am on Thursday, January 22 at WH Smith in High Street. They left the scene in a car which was waiting outside the store, which was a Subaru Legacy or similar-looking vehicle.

Police would like to speak to anyone who anyone acting in a suspicious manner in or around WH Smith or Sainsbury’s, High Street on Wednesday, January 21 or anyone who witnessed the burglary itself.
