Jonathan Whitlock was removed following a public hearing which found him guilty of unacceptable professional conduct.

Mr Whitlock worked at the Banbury Chiropractic Clinic prior to the hearing and has also worked at the Advanced Chiropractic Clinic in Three Bridges.

The GCC’s Professional Conduct Committee (PCC) found that Mr Whitlock was guilty of unacceptable professional conduct as he behaved in a sexually motivated way towards two female patients.

Evidence showed that he had touched a patient in a sexualised way on more than one occasion.

The PCC concluded he had gained sexual pleasure from touching patients in a sexualised way which was wholly incompatible with being a chiropractor.

It added his behaviour had caused emotional harm to his patients and was a gross abuse of his position of trust which violated his patients’ rights.

Following the decision his name will be removed from the register subject to any appeal by May 24.

In the meantime his registration is suspended, preventing him from practising as a chiropractor.
