Cllr Debbie Pickford, Cherwell’s lead member for clean and green, said: “This year we are 32nd out of 345 in the league table of recycling authorities. That’s not bad, but more can be done.

“These surveys are being carried out by APSE members across the country and will help us compare the quality of our service with other councils.

“Firstly it asks which services are most important to people and then asks them to rate how well we are currently performing in those areas.

She added: “The results will also help make sure we are spending Council Tax and our efforts in the areas that residents want to see the most improvement.”
