Cherwell Edge golf club to host charity tournament

Cherwell Edge Golf Club in Chacombe will be the setting for the fifth charitable golf tournament, raising money and awareness for Enrych Oxfordshire.

The Tuesday, September 6, event will feature over 30 teams vying for various honours, including team prizes for the top three finishers along with individual awards for the longest drive and closest to the pin.

There will also be an auction following the golf tournament and prizes include tickets to see Graham Norton, a football signed by Everton Football Club and a cricket bat signed by Graham Gooch.

There are still a few early slots left and entry for a team of four is £160, which includes a bacon roll and all day buffet.
