Actress and singer Patsy Kensit and former Wham! member Andrew Ridgeley will be opening this year’s Priors Marston Country Fair on Saturday.

St Leonard’s Church Fete has taken place at The Manor in the heart of Priors Marston for a number of years but last year’s fete was particularly successful and members of the organising committee have tweaked the event for 2013.

Visitors this year will see a change from the conventional fete format to the inaugural country fair, also being held in the grounds and gardens of The Manor. The event will be opened at 12.30pm by Patsy Kensit (pictured) for the second year running, as well as former Wham! member Andrew Ridgeley.

Visitors will have the opportunity to wander around the courtyard, garden and grounds while browsing a range of stalls showcasing locally produced quality food and drink and some arts and crafts.

There will be opportunities to taste and to buy the produce and to attend presentations and demonstrations.

There will also be games, a bouncy castle, music, a pig roast, cream teas and Pimm’s.
