A Brackley cat owner has expressed concern about her pet cat after he went missing from her home last Saturday.

Fiyero is a black and white male and was last since at his family home in Glebe Drive at 11am.

It follows the disappearance of another cat in Brackley called Hamish, who went missing at the end of last month.

Fiyero’s owner Melanie Coates has said she is ‘distraught’ over Fiyero, and added that his sister Elpheba was found in the back garden with a broken pelvis and other injuries, and hopes it isn’t a coincidence.

She said: “Elpheba was found laid in our back garden very badly injured with a broken pelvis, bad haemorrhaging behind her eyes and two tears either side of her abdominal wall.

“She is currently at a vets in Solihull recovering as we thought she needed surgery. Fiyero went missing exactly a week later and I really hope this is a coincidence and in no way related to Hamish going missing.

“I’m distraught as this time a week ago I had two beautiful cats who are both a year old on Sunday and at the moment I have neither of them.”
