Ella Harriss of Wood Green charity shop in Banbury's High Street is looking for the owner of a lost canary NNL-180920-153238001

A passer-by spotted a canary which appeared to have flown or been blown into a window at Michael Jones Jeweller so picked it up and took it across to the Wood Green charity shop, hoping the team there would have the contacts to look after it.

Assistant manger Ella Harriss took it to a vet to get checked over and following a clean bill of health, she has found it a cage and has given it a temporary home.

But now the search is on to find the real owner – and if you know who it is, contact Ella at the shop.
