Can you help police after Bicester business is targeted

A Bicester firm has been targeted after offenders gained access to the shop and stole a number of items.

The incident happened between midnight and 3am last Thursday at The Fire Place in Wedgewood Road.

0ffenders gained access through a fire door at the back of the building and once inside, they stole 17 wood burners/multi fuel stoves, two Tosiba flat screen 24’ televisions, golf clubs in a Powerkaddy bag, electric golf trolley, large metal safe, two Milwaukee cordless drills and a Makita angle grinder.

PC Nathan Davis, investigating officer based at Banbury Police Station, said: “If you have any information regarding the stolen items or saw anything suspicious please get in contact through the non emergency 101 enquiry centre.

“These wood burners are heavy and some weigh around 150kgs, these would have been moved by more than one person and, a van or similar would have been needed to take the stolen items away.”
