More disabled people are able to enjoy sport, thanks to a donation of specialist sports equipment from Abbots Langley-based Demand Design and Manufacture for Disability.

Breakspeare School in Abbots Langley and The Collett School and Woodfield School in Hemel Hemptead (pictured) are among the nine schools and community groups in Herts which have received a Boccia kit (a version of bowls).

The kits have been sponsored by Boys & Girls Nursery in Croxley Green, Heronslea developer of Bushey, and £1,285 in pledges from guests at Demand’s anniversary fundraising gala.
