Bicester mother ‘stabbed in front of son’
Andrew Parsons, 38, has pleaded not guilty to murdering Janee Parsons, 31, at their home in Lucerne Avenue on December 1 last year.
In her opening statement, Miranda Moore QC, prosecuting, said Mrs Parsons was stabbed more than a dozen times after she announced plans to leave her husband of nine years.

Hide AdJurors at Oxford Crown Court heard how their young son witnessed the attack on his mother and pleaded with his father to call for medical help.
An audio recording of the incident was captured on a device the prosecution alleges was planted in Mrs Parson’s bedroom by her husband after the couple’s relationship became increasingly strained.
Miss Moore described how Mrs Parsons said “Your son is watching me die Andrew” after being fatally injured.
Mrs Parsons had been living separately from her husband in the same house after becoming unhappy in the marriage and announcing her intention to divorce, the court heard.
The trial is expected to last more than a week.
