The ladies of Sibford were treated to a lunch and a talk by one of BBC’s most recognisable presenters.
Sue Cook, who graced the nation’s TV screens for three decades and appeared on such shows as Crimewatch, Pebble Mill and Children in Need, spoke at a charity lunch at Sibford Village Hall last week.
Seventy ladies attended the event in the recently refurbished hall and were entertained by the presenter with stories of her life in broadcasting and the famous and influential people she had met.
The event raised £2,000 for Alzheimer’s Research from the sale of tickets, table decorations and a raffle, which will fund 100 hours of research.
The organising team is delighted and wishes to thank all supporters.
