Popular TV gardener and broadcaster David Domoney visited Barn Farm Plants to talk to staff and customers about the great outdoors and the community garden competition Cultivation Street.

Mr Domoney presents ITV’s Love your Garden and also writes a weekly gardening column for the Sunday People.

He visited the garden centre near Wardington on May 30 to give an interesting and passionate talk about involving all ages in gardening.

He also talked about Cultivation Street, which is now in its third year and focuses on getting everyone to revitalise their streets and support community gardening projects.

It is to encourage as many people as possible to bring back front gardens and help bring communities and neighbours together through gardening activities.

Anyone can enter the competiton, from schools to streets in towns and villages, and the top prize is £10,000 National Gardening gift vouchers.
