The business on Manor Road is run by town mayor Jim Broomfield and his partner Debbe Perry and camera crews were in the town in November to film four programmes due to be shown later this year.

The programme will be aired on BBC One at 12.15pm and shows contestants aiming to find a bargain in the vast collection of antiques with experts Charlie Ross and Catherine Southern.

Ms Perry said: “We have lost count at how many times the BBC cameras have been here! They said they were thrilled to be able to come back and said they would love to return.

“As the programme is being aired later today we certainly expect to be a bit busier over the weekend.

“We are also finding more and more of the younger generation getting into antiques because I think they are getting fed up with flatpack furniture but it is becoming quite trendy. You never know what you are going to find here because there is so much here.”
