The garden centre is based adjacent to the store on Swan Close Road and will re-open on February 26 in time for Banbury’s gardeners to stock up on quality plants, seeds, equipment and garden supplies ahead of the Easter Holidays.
Sarah Ross, store general manager at Morrisons Banbury, said: “The re-opening of our garden centre will complement our store’s year-round gardening range. It will make it easy for Banbury’s gardeners in to easily pick up what they need, whilst they’re doing their weekly shop. We think people will be amazed by the prices of the high quality plants, trees and flowers we stock.”
The garden centre will kick-off the season by stocking a range of bedding plants, including pansies and violas along with early flowers such as primroses and mini daffodils.
Small trees and shrubs will be available, including olive trees and large Buxus plants. The centre will also offer a host of composts and peats, fertilisers and weed killers, plus garden equipment and tools.
