Banbury’s gypsy community unite to remember Amanda

Banbury town centre came to a standstill today (Friday) as nearly 1,000 people gathered at St Mary’s Church to remember Amanda Biddle.

The 27-year-old died on December 1 and the gypsy community came in their hundreds this morning to pay their respects to the former Frank Wise School pupil.

The car park outside the Whately Hall Hotel on North Bar was packed with cars and several trailers with floral tributes and heartfelt messages have been parked on the pavement outside the church.
