The event will be held on March 13 and is the major fund raiser for the club’s Mini’s section and the biggest in the region with more than 130 teams set to take part.

Mr Anthony is supporting the event and with his team of stylists led by Charlotte Cole, they set to work last Thursday to transform the lads into a squad worthy of the front pages of any fashion magazine.

Mr Anthony said ‘It was certainly an unusual request to spruce up a whole rugby team and it’s been a pleasure. The lads are a great bunch and are a credit to the club.

“We have thoroughly enjoyed working with them this evening and it’s clear that they are as good friends off the pitch as they are team mates on it.

“We wish the U12s and all the junior teams at Banbury every success at the Festival and for the rest of the season.’

Forward Joe Weaver added: “We were all a bit worried about this evening but it’s been good fun. I bet we don’t look quite as smart after we finish playing Chippy this Sunday!”
