Banbury Rotary annual Club’s Christmas Lunch featured a number of special invitees including John Ong who gave a talk about the Cluster Care Group.

John explained the impact to services created due to reduced funding from the Local Authority budgets.

Also speaking was Mo Sayers, who runs the the Day Care provision offered at Cropredy for people suffering from dementia and age related health problems.

Currently there are 12 users of the Day Centre who enjoy creating art, music, exercise classes and two sharing meals.

The important aspect of the Club is mental stimulation and physical well-being of the users and giving Carers the much needed respite.

Other special guests included Lord and Lady Saye and Sele, High Steward of Banbury Sir Tony Baldry and President of Cherwell Rotary Club Chris May.
