The extension and new pre-school area of Child First Day Nursery in Banbury will be officially opened by town mayor Tony Mepham on Saturday, November 28.

The nursery currently operates at the old Banbury Museum building on Horsefair but has now expanded into the former Chapel Nightclub

and transformed it into a magical space for children to explore and grow.

A Christmas fair on the day is from 10am-2pm and will be the first opportunity for families to explore the new building while joining in the festive fun.

Amy Ames, nursery manager, said: “With a sensory room, large indoor activity centre, dining area and a disco ball to make dance sessions out of this world, the pre school will ensure that a new experience awaits the children every day!

“The expansion also means that the younger children within the current nursery have even more rooms in which to create and discover.”

The event will have face painting, a Santa’s Grotto and lots of activities for the family.

Entry costs £2 adults and children get in free.
