A group of motor cyclists were riding on the road at this time when one of the motorcycles, a Silver Honda Motorcycle ridden by a 41 year old man from Bicester, collided with a Black Audi car driven by a 20-year-old woman from London.

Shortly afterwards a second motorcycle, a White Kawasaki, also collided with the Audi car. This resulted in a 40-year-old man from Oxfordshire suffering a shoulder injury and he was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

The road was closed for around five hours while police were investigating the incident.

Police are appealing to any witnesses to the collision or who travelled the route around the time of the collision to call 101 and quote incident 354 of 4 July.

Officers would also like to view any in-car video footage people may have that could be relevant to the investigation.
