Banbury man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

Police officers were called by the ambulance service to George Street in Banbury at about 5am on Saturday, November 26, following an assault.

Upon arriving at the scene officers found a man who had sustained possibly life changing injuries following the assault. He was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains.

Officers arrested a 21-year-old man from Banbury on suspicion of attempted murder. He has been released on bail until December 12 to attend Banbury Police Station.
