Jane has adapted two stories by Robert Louis Stevenson, for Radio 4’s Classic Serial. Tennant plays the hero in the first, and narrates the second.

Jane said: “The casts of both plays are excellent but David is a radio producer’s dream. He can read pages of narration without a single hesitation or fluff, and he brings the text vividly to life. Plus, he’s incredibly modest and funny.”

You can see Jane Rogers, Carnegie medal nominee Miriam Moss and a host of other speakers at Banbury Literary Live at North Oxfordshire Academy on November 20.
