Banbury Guardian review of the year 2018

The year got off to a positive start with a story of salvation for a former drug user, Ben Hornsby, who turned his life around after an encounter with a Banbury boy whilst begging. We put out an appeal to find the boy that would later prove successful.
The end of the month the BG broke the news that the magistrates court was due to be closed early 2019 due to it being significantly under used.

The continued fight for the Horton Hospital and ever growing anger about the state of the roads supplied a constant background noise to numerous exciting and moving stories including the discovery of a Roman villa and the fight to save a children’s Play Bus.We look back at the ups and downs of the year.
