Banbury comes together to remember fallen war heroes

Hundreds of people lined the streets of Banbury today (Sunday) as they came together for the town’s Remembrance Day parade.

The Air Corps Training Band led a procession from the High Street which included the town’s 1460 squadron, sea cadets and cubs and scouts.

Banbury town councillors were then led to a memorial service at St Mary’s Church on Horsfair by town mayor Tony Mepham before they headed to People’s Park for a short service at the war memorial.
