A kind-hearted gentleman has donated £200 from his Winter Fuel Payment to support the work at Banbury Young Homelessness Project (BYHP).

The charity on Chandos Close have been running a Christmas Campaign called #BYHPChristmas to raise awareness and to ask for support in helping vulnerable young people in the Banbury area.

As part of this campaign, the man, who is a supporter of BYHP but wished to remain anonymous, donated the amount which he did not need.

Tim Tarby-Donald, Head of Business at BYHP said: “It is wonderful that this gentleman has decided to donate his Winter Fuel Payment in this way to help support the work BYHP does with young people.

“Christmas is truly a time of giving and such generous donations mean that we can continue the wonderful work that has been done for over more than 25 years.
