Naomi’s Café Bar – Art & More is extending its opening hours ahead of their bumper festive season programme.

The Banbury-based venue in Bridge Street is boasting a bumper line up of events throughout December and as a result has decided to keep the kitchen open until 9pm, seven days a week.

Naomi Perkins, owner of Naomi’s Café Bar – Art & More, said: “Christmas is an exciting time for us and we are really getting into the holiday spirit.

“We have a fantastic line up of events, I’m particularly looking forward to the Cabaret evening on 15 and 22

December. I can’t think of anywhere in Banbury whereby you can have your Christmas Dinner and enjoy a show at the same time.”

The ever evolving programme of events includes something for all the family.

There’s the Children’s Christmas party on the 23rd December with songs, face painting, games and a party lunch and for the whole of December there’s a Santa’s Grotto.

For the adults who just want to get away from all the madness there is Monday Supper Club, a ‘Midweek Man Cave’, Star Wars Pre-screening Party, A Magic and Mayhem evening, the Musical Theatre Night, along with the regulars, Honest Comedy and The Road Test open mic.

This half-term they have a ‘Minecraft madness’ workshop which includes 3D modelling, live computer gaming and tutorials from the experts - Sophia (12), Esme (9) who have even written their own user guides for the hit gaming sensation and Flo (7) who will be coordinating and running this fun packed activity day.

Emma Louise, Banbury resident and local artist, said: “One of the things I love about Naomi’s Café Bar is that it is so homely and welcoming. Naomi obviously has a passion for creative expression so I was delighted when she asked me if I’d like to make the Grotto this Christmas.

“Since I started the project the Café has been overwhelmed with enquires which makes me very proud as an artist and Banbury resident, I can’t wait for December to start!”

Luke Cheetham, Events Manager added: “I’m really looking forward to organising the events coming up at the Café. The building is such an amazing space and lends itself to so many different possibilities. I can’t wait to get started.”
