Banbury bereaved couple's bake sale success for Immy
Kathryn and Lester Whitby’s event at Middleton Cheney Sports and Social Club on Saturday, March 10, was in memory of Imogen.
The cake sales were in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity which helped the family before Immy died in January, 2017.

“We met some very special people who said they ‘just wanted to be here to support the event.’
“It means the world to us to do our bit in helping to raise money for research and awareness into this cruel disease and save other parents our heartache.”
Geraldine Pipping from the charity said they were grateful the couple helped raise money for research ‘in their beautiful little girl’s memory’.

“We are aiming to raise 150,000 pounds to fund a life-saving research project for over two years.
“Our wonderful supporters like Kathryn and Lester are holding cake sales all over the UK throughout March.
“Although brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and under-40s in the UK, less than two per cent of the money spent on cancer research a year goes on brain tumours.
