Out of all the people who entered, Shona Bell from Byfield was the lucky name to be drawn out the hat and she collected her prize from manager Carol Munday last Wednesday.

Mrs Munday was described the amount of entries for the latest competition as ‘unbelievable’. She added: “The competitions with the Banbury Guardian are excellent and generate so much interest. We used to have nothing to do with counting entries so we never knew how many people entered so when we had them all come through to us I could not believe how many we were getting. It was unbelievable.

“We always get a great response when we do a competition and Mrs Bell was very happy when we told her we have won. We’d definitely want to try and do some more competitions in the future.”
