Avon Dassett garden owners recognised for dedication to NGS
In recognition Avon Dassett residents Lily and Kerry Hope-Frost received a commemorative compass from National Gardens Scheme County Organiser Julia Sewell to mark 30 years of opening The Old Rectory garden for the charity’s cancer and palliative care beneficiaries.
Lily said: ““Whatever the weather the good people from far and wide keep coming, with many repeat visitors. Some years, bright brollies colour the garden and the sunny days are enhanced by hats and pretty parasols”
