Arson incident near Chippy after vehicle fire.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after an incident of arson near Chipping Norton.

At about 12.20pm on Sunday, police were called by the fire service to a vehicle fire in a field in Over Worton.

The vehicle was recovered and police are appealing for anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact them.

If anyone saw anything suspicious in the area at around the time of the arson, or knows who the vehicle may belong to, please call PC Andy Proudfoot of Witney police station via Thames Valley Police on 101.
