Arrest after driver killed in five-vehicle crash on the A34 near Weston-on-the-Green
The woman, from Huntingdon and aged in her 70s, died at the scene after her Nissan Note left the carriageway during the crash.
Police said they arrested a 45-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, yesterday (Sunday) on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been bailed until July 23.

Hide AdThe collision occurred at 3.30pm on the northbound carriageway and involved a white Renault truck, a black Nissan Note, a silver Vauxhall Corsa, and a red Renault Scenic A silver Citroen Picasso was also damaged.
The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening and has since been discharged.
The A34 was closed northbound while Roads Policing officers investigated the circumstances of the collision.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Gavin Collier, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or anyone who saw the vehicles travelling prior to the collision.
