£1 entry for women and girls to football match
Banbury United is supporting the Women at the Game initiative, by offering all women and girls admission for just £1 to the game against Cirencester Town on Saturday March 11.
Women at the Game is the brainchild of Jacqui Forster, who in her former role at Supporters Direct supported clubs including Banbury Utd to become supporter-owned football clubs.
Timed to mark International Women’s Day, Women at the Game aims for women of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicity, ability and religious belief to feel welcome and comfortable attending sports events, particularly men’s football.
