Appeal for help after man is injured in Chipping Norton


A man thought to be in his fifties is currently in hospital after police found him lying in a road in Chipping Norton with a serious head injury.

Police were called at about 8am yesterday (Sunday) to Goddards Lane, where the man was taken to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment.

Officers are trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the man’s injury and would like to speak to anyone who has any information which could help with the investigation.

Anyone who saw the man in Goddards Lane, or saw any vehicles or people acting out of the ordinary, should call police on 101 quoting URN 466 23/8.
