Blessed George Napier Catholic School’s choir has raised more than £1,300 for Breast Cancer Awareness.

The choir sang at Sainsbury’s and Tesco at Christmas, raising the sum in four hours. Tim Wilson, the school’s head of music said: “Singing carols at Christmas is always the highlight of the youth choir’s year and we spent the last week of the school term out and about, not only in local stores, but also visiting residential and nursing homes such as Lake House and Katharine House Hospice in Adderbury.

“To raise such a significant amount in so short a space of time was amazing and the choir would like to thank all who gave so generously for their support to this important cause.”
