Adderbury sisters have big chop for charity


The siblings, who attend Warriner School, wanted to organise a charity challenge with a major impact that would encourage sponsorship.
So they opted for a headshave to raise money for the Alzheimers Society and Macmillan Cancer Support – because their late grandmother had Pick’s disease (frontal lobe dementia) and cancer has touched several members of their family – and to donate their hair to The Little Princess Trust.

Hide AdThe big chop took place at Squires in Adderbury and so far they’ve raised £1,492.50.
The worst bit, according to proud mum Wendy Ockenden, was the sound of the first cut, close to their ears.
