A driver has died following a crash in Brackley

Police are appealing for witnesses following the crash on the A43 in Brackley

Northamptonshire Police said that at around 10am today, Friday, May 21, a white articulated lorry was collided with the roundabout next to the BP garage on Brackley's A43 bypass.

An Air Ambulance landed at the scene near Brackley but despite the efforts of trauma specialists on board and paramedics from East Midlands Ambulance Service, the driver sadly died.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to get in touch, and want to hear from anyone who may have relevant dash-cam footage taken prior to, during or after the collision.

The A43 remains closed northbound around the area of the incident.
