Festival of Speed 2024 tickets limited, and kids go free

Love cars, love motorsport? Then save the date for the world’s biggest celebration of all things auto: Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard.

The event runs at Goodwood from 11-14 July 2024 and is packed with a plethora of driving based fun to gladden the heart of aspiring Formula 1 drivers, vintage car lovers, supercar enthusiasts and more.

And it’s a family friendly event – kids get in free with paying adults, making it an affordable and fun way to spend the day.

What to expect?

Organisers have gone above and beyond this year. There’s the ever-popular hillclimb, where drivers race to have the fastest climb in the four-day festival.

There’s your chance to see some of the best cars in Formula 1 history and don’t forget your camera – selfies with motorsport heroes are a must! Expect to see supercars from the likes of Bugatti, McLaren, Lamborghini and Ferrari, so close you will see your happy reflection in the highly polished chrome.

There’s action on the Forest Rally Stage and the classiest looking machines in the Cartier Style et Luxe competition – two very different areas each with a huge amount to see.

Back to the future

Yes, there’s plenty of history at the festival, but the future is well served – find out what the tech teams are working on in the short and mid-term future – flying cars, jet packs, 3D-printed food – expect to be amazed.

The future is looking pretty electric too, and up to 20 of the latest models will be on display in Electric Avenue for you to quiz the marques about benefits, range and whether your lifestyle is ready to be charged up.

And with a nod to the past, MG – already embracing the electric era – is also celebrating its centenary, with a huge sculpture marking the milestone.

Tickets are selling out fast – only Thursday admission remains, so you’d better be quick. Don’t forget though, kids go free and teens 13-21 years old pay half price.
