Amy Kakoura and Andrew Sharpe, who are best known on the folk scene as the singer and pianist with the jazz and ceilidh band Steamchicken. The support act will be local group 25 Years Late, featuring singer/songwriter Kevin West, who will be joined by musicians Stevie Matt Cooper, Tim Marris, Mike Moyse and Dave Lovick. Expect some familiar songs and a few surprises. Tickets: £7/ £6 concessions. Upton House

Visitors to Upton House will be able to explore the property and hear all about the love stories which evolved during the Second World War. In the house, visitors can get involved in the Banking for Victory exhibition by knitting, typing letters and sharing memories of the war. Families visiting Upton House for this half term will also be to explore the grounds with a new Land Army Trail. Children can learn more about the contributions of Land Girls to the war. Richard Bean’s critically acclaimed drama, Toast. Starring Olivier Award-winning actor Matthew Kelly and Alan Partridge’s Simon Greenall, this big-hearted Toast takes place on a Sunday shift amongst the repetitious humming and thumping of a Hull bread factory. Matthew Kelly plays Nellie, a long-suffering employee who has spent years making a lot of dough for the factory, but not for himself. But this shift is going to be different.
