Adderbury Theatre Workshop presents Sleeping Beauty Untold, told from the perspective of Maleficent. The pantomime is set in the fictional lands of Adderbrasia and Suttonia in an unspecified timeline. Most of the adventure takes place in the forest of Adderbrasia or the castle of King Clarkson. Tickets cost £8 for evening performances and £5 for the Saturday matinee.

Hooky Players Drama Group present the pantomime Dick Whittington.

The pantomime follows closely the traditional story of Dick Whittington’s journey to London to find fame and fortune, where he has many adventures on the way.

There’s evil King Rat doing battle with Fairy Bow Bells, Fitzwarren’s Shop, a Shipwreck and the Sultan’s Palace where there will be plenty of fun and action. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £6 for children and concessions.

Rent, the multi-award winning rock musical by Jonathan Larson, comes to the Oxford Playhouse. Performed by Oxford University students in its 20th anniversary year, the show is full of explosive energy and emotion as the characters learn to find happiness even in the most unlikely places.

Set in 1990s New York, eight young artists dream of a life where love, art and hope triumph over the shadow of poverty as they struggle to pay their rent and create a life for themselves under the shadow of HIV/Aids.

Flare Path, from one of Britain’s most popular 20th century dramatists, comes to the stage at Oxford Playhouse. Based on Terence Rattigan’s own experiences as a tail gunner, and taking inspiration from the Britain all around him, this Second World War production was written, set and staged in this momentous and turbulent era.
