Dinosaur exhibition aims to bring young people from all over to county's museum

Banbury residents are being urged to take advantage of the county council's museum this summer to see the dinosaur exhibits.
“There is a huge array of fun activities at our Oxfordshire Museum this summer, including dedicated children’s activities. Whatever your interests are, there is something for you! What’s more, the museum is free entry to all, so a great, low-cost day out for everyone.”“There is a huge array of fun activities at our Oxfordshire Museum this summer, including dedicated children’s activities. The Oxfordshire Museum located in Woodstock has a free dinosaur garden exhibition this summer holiday.

The garden exhibition contains a bus-sized megalosaur, a new garden with Jurassic plants, dinosaur activity trails, 168 million-year-old dinosaur footprints excavated from Ardley Quarry in Oxfordshire, and a dinosaur gallery where visitors can feed the dinosaurs.

Alongside the dinosaur exhibition, visitors can also unwind during the long summer days in the peaceful garden and enjoy homemade cakes, scones, and other treats at the museum café.

The museum has plenty of seating both indoors in the well-ventilated café and in the Museum’s extensive garden.

Children’s food at the museum garden cafe includes dino lunch boxes and freshly made mini pizza, popular dinosaur biscuits, hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows, babycinos, and freshly baked chocolate cookies.

Entry to the museum is free and there will be many other activities for children, including the new I-Spy Trail and a Crazy Trail for those who like more of a challenge.
