McDonald’s is adding a new breakfast roll to its menu - here’s what’s on it
McDonald’s is once again expanding its menu, by adding a new roll to its breakfast offerings.
The fast food chain is introducing a breakfast roll that will launch in all UK restaurants, containing back bacon, a sausage patty, cheese, and an egg.
The new breakfast item will be served in a soft white roll and customers can then choose to add either tomato sauce or brown sauce.

The breakfast roll will be available to buy from Wednesday 21 October, and has already proven successful after a trial in McDonald’s branches in Ireland.
How much does the roll cost?
The new product is priced at £2.79 and will be served during McDonald's breakfast hours, which are typically from 5am to 11am - but it’s worth checking your local branch for specific opening times.
Expanded daytime menu
The chain also recently added five new items to its daytime menu, which is served after breakfast ends at 11am, and is available until the restaurant closes.
The new menu features a spicy quarter pounder, which is made up of a beef patty, two slices of pepper jack cheese, onions, jalapenos, mustard and a spicy ketchup, all sandwiched in a sesame seed bun. The new burger addition costs £4.79.
The expanded menu also includes a McChicken BLT, which features a crispy chicken patty, lettuce, mayo and bacon, costing £5.19.
The chain has released a deluxe version of its quarter pounder, which the company describes as a "fancy" version of the staple burger. The quarter pounder deluxe costs £4.89 and contains a beef patty, shredded lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, onions, mayo, ketchup, mustard, and streaky bacon.
Nacho cheese wedges, which are bites of melted spicy jalapeno cheese, covered in fried tortilla chips, have also made a return to the menu and are available in two different sizes. The wedges cost £1.79 for a regular portion with five bites, or £4.79 for a 20 piece sharebox.
If you fancy something sweet, then McDonald’s has also added a salted caramel latte to its menu. The latte costs £1.69 and is perfect for the autumn season.
The new items were added to the menu on Wednesday 7 October 2020, and are currently set to be available until Tuesday 17 November.
