Enjoyable spa package at Whittlebury Hall ticks all the right boxes

Following the end to my football season, I decided to head to the spa for the first time in need of some recuperation for my aching limbs.

Once I was welcomed by the friendly staff at reception I was given a towel and dressing gown for the day ahead.

The sheer size of the place means there will be something for everyone who comes here.

Once we had our tour done I headed straight to the hydrotherapy pool when I could have easily stayed for the whole day.

The different water pressures in the pool is great for those with knotted muscles in their backs and you can instantly feel the difference just by being in the room for ten minutes. As well as the pool there is a ice cave, sanarium, Roman Salt Steam and sauna so there are lots to treatments available to try.

The first of my treatments was a body massage, which is what I felt I needed and it certainly did the trick. The relaxing music instantly made me forget about all the stresses of life and the knots in my back were smoothed out and made me feel so much better.

Following a healthy buffet lunch, it was on to the next treatment which was a purifying facial. Again within minutes I was nearly asleep and felt completely envigorated.
