Classical music is given a makeover at Chippy Theatre

Prepare to see classical string quartets propelled into the 21st century when Graffiti Classics perform at Chipping Norton Theatre today (Thursday).

The dynamic group of four string musicians will break down the elitist boundaries of traditional classical music with their hilarious all-singing, all-dancing comedy show.

With 16 strings, eight dancing feet and four voices between them, the band aim to make classical music fun for their audiences.

Recently the band have found themselves in high demand, playing at top theatres, festivals and prestigious venues across the world.

They have also appeared on national TV and radio, including BBC TV’s Hoopla! and a live performance on Jeni Barnett’s BBC radio show.

Graffiti describe their performance as a classical concert, gypsy-folk romp, opera, stand-up comedy set and an energetic dance show all rolled into one and never fail to get audiences laughing, clapping and singing along in their seats.

The Graffiti Classics concert takes place at Chipping Norton Theatre tonight (Thursday), starting at 7.45pm.
