To help bring a bit of Christmas magic to festivities, Amazon’s Alexa is leaving special messages from Santa for youngsters to enjoy.

A message from Santa

If you own the voice-controlled device, you simply need to get your kids to ask Alexa how many days there are until Christmas. Alexa will then respond with the answer and ask if you’d like to hear an update from Santa himself.

A special message from Father Christmas will follow, in which he promises to keep your child up to date with the latest festive news, as well as detailing how he’s been preparing for the busiest time of the year.

Many Alexa users have already reported his response, with Santa stating, “Ho ho ho, I’m so looking forward to Christmas.

“I will be starting my daily Christmas update very soon, so make sure you come back if you love Christmas.

“Come back tomorrow for another Christmas update.”

Meanwhile, other users have reported hearing Santa talking about being busy baking mince pies with Mrs Claus at their home in the North Pole.
