The service has around 500 registered passengers and a team of almost 50 drivers and is looking for more volunteers to help.

It completed 2,500 return journeys last year, taking people who do not have access to public or private transport to important medical or social care appointments.

“Volunteering fosters a sense of belonging and brings immense satisfaction to both the helpers and those they assist. By helping others access medical care, volunteers contribute to a healthier, more compassionate community.”
