However, Oxforshire County Council (OCC) suspects there has been an under-reporting in Oxford of actual figures and this is currently being investigated by Public Health England.

In the seven days up to October 23, there has been a total of 813 confirmed cases in Oxfordshire. This is an increase from 597 new cases in the previous week.

This is equivalent to a weekly rate of new cases of 117.5 per 100,000 residents.
