Positive Covid-19 cases are still falling across the Cherwell area and half of the wards within Banbury town being classed as 'nearly Covid-free'.

The latest government figures show positive Covid cases across Oxfordshire to have slightly risen with a 10 per cent increase over last seven day period.

The figures show a decrease in positive Covid cases across Cherwell District area with 41 cases, a decrease by 18 over the seven day period ending on March 11.
Half of the wards within Banbury town are being classed as 'nearly Covid-free' with fewer than three Covid cases over the last seven day period.
The following three wards within Banbury are being classed as 'nearly Covid-free' with fewer than three cases: Banbury Calthorpe, Banbury Hardwick and Banbury Neithrop.
