Much-loved Chipping Norton care home assistant receives long service award

A much-loved care assistant at Southerndown Care Home in Chipping Norton has received a prestigious Long Service Award in celebration of working at Barchester Healthcare for 10 years.

Wilma Estupa, started at Barchester in June 2011 and has worked with residents and their relatives to ensure that their needs have been met over the years.

Wilma was super surprised to learn that Regional Director Xin Zhao and Lorna Rose Divisional Director at Barchester were visiting Southerndown on the day of her 10th anniversary.

Lorna Rose said: “I’m always pleased to hear stories about the long service of Barchester staff, and am delighted to be here today as Wilma has achieved this milestone. It is dedication like this that ensures our residents are provided with a happy place to live.”

Lorraine Ball, general manager of Southerndown, said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating 10 years of loyal service with Wilma. She has demonstrated her dedication and loyalty to this home and its residents year after year. I speak for all of us here at Southerndown Care Home when I say that I’m looking forward to many more years of working with Wilma!”
