Latest figures show continued rise in Covid-19 cases for several Banbury areas

With talk restrictions may be tightened in the current third lockdown of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic the figures for the virus continue to rise in the Banbury area.
Amid reports that the rising levels of coronavirus infections across the UK may not be successfully brought under control by current restrictions, government ministers are thought to be considering further ways to reduce the spread of the virus.

Hide AdThe latest government figures show several Banbury areas with a continued rise in Covid cases, including the Ruscote area which showed 153 cases, an increase of 63 cases for the seven–day period ending on January 5.

Bodicote, Bloxham and Adderbury: 116 cases - increase by 38
Banbury Hardwick: 93 cases - no change
Banbury Easington: 85 cases - increase by 28
Banbury Neithrop: 64 cases - increase by 14
Banbury Calthorpe: 60 cases - increase by 30
Brackley North: 80 - increase by 14
Brackley South: 27 - increase by 17
Middleton Cheney and Chipping Warden: 59 cases - increase by 19
