Lennon Kingsnorth, who attends Saltway Nursery in Bodicote, has been handing out messages on Viral Kindness cards to the elderly in his Banbury neighbourhood with the help of his mother, Nicola Kingsnorth.

Nicola said: "We have a lot of elderly neighbours (on the Timms Estate) and I suggested we asked them if they needed any help with their shopping, considering we were fit and healthy, why shouldn't we try and help others."

Nicola downloaded a Viral Kindness card off the internet and filled it out with a message offering to help. Then they headed out together to deliver them with Lennon posting them through his neighbour's letter boxes.

Nicola added: "He had an absolute blast, and a lot of the time wouldn't even let me walk down the path with him. He wanted to post them through the letterboxes by himself.

"He even shouted after a runner to see if he needed any help. We've had a great response and so many calls of thanks, so the offer of help has gone a long way."

Lennon and his mother's kind actions have even caught the attention of their local MP Victoria Prentis, who took to Twitter to praise their actions and included the following hashtag #BeMoreLennon.

Nicola said: "Lennon attends Saltway Nursery in Bodicote and as of next week Lennon's nursery is closed (except for children of key workers) so he has asked if he can draw pictures for people. So we will be back out posting pictures to spread some happiness."
