Despite lockdown, streets across Banburyshire celebrated the 75th anniversary of VE Day on Friday (May 8) and over the whole bank holiday weekend. Many fell silent for two minutes at 11am to pay their respects to those who lost their lives during the wars. Here are some off the photos you sent in to us. Some people dressed in war time era clothing to celebrate, others held street parties at a safe distance and many families posed for celebratory pictures.
